A tear, a journal, and a quil « Thread Started on Jan 22, 2006, 9:46pm »
Drea was sitting in one of the many darkened corners of the Dungeons. This corner happend to be hidden by a jutting wall, a very tacky looking suit of armor and a tapstry of orchids. Which in Drea's opinion was too bright and cheerful for the dungeons.
With a quil in her hand Drea started to write uneasily in her muggle journal. Tears had started to freefall from her face some time ago. It must have been well into the night at that point, and wasn't sure what time. It was well after curfew when Drea left the common room due to a slight jealousy. Victoria and DJ were doing Gypsy magic, with just her to watch. So feeling on the outs, Drea decided to update her chronicles.
It had been a while since she wrote of Armour and Arelia. She smiled to herself thinking of the tragic love story she was writting. It was written from an odd perspective. It was a Journal from Arelia's point of view with flashbacks. Drea planned to do the same from Armour's point of view when the first was completed.
So that is where Drea sat thinking of everything she longed to have and be able to share with another. She thought of everything that never would and never could happen. She only hoped it wasn't impossible for her to find love.
Pale, without name or number, In fruitless fields of corn, They bow themselves and slumber All night till light is born; And like a soul belated, In hell and heaven unmated, By cloud and mist abated Comes out of darkness morn.

Drea looked up suddenly at feeling a slight gustof wind blow across her face. She slowly wipped at her tears and stood up from her hiding space. She eased her way from the corner and just stood in the cold, dark hall for a minute. Drea let herself calm down before she started to walk.

In the midst of her quiet steps Drea heard a sharp intake of breath causing her to stop walking. She slowly, and silently turned around to look in the darkness for another person. After a few moments she called out gently, "I know someone is there, and if you would be so kind as to show yourself, I will not feel the need to send hexes about in the darkness."

Kal pulled out his wand lighting it with the lumos charm and lowering slightly "Well ain't we pleasant to be around." Kal said casting a grin at her hoping she wouldn't just get up and leave knowing he probably said the wrong thing to start off with

Squinting her eyes Drea looked at the boy who was now in front of her. "The pleasantries are reserved for those I am formally acquanted with," Drea said to the boy. After a moments hesitation she walked forward a couple of steps and held out her hand and said, "My name is Drea."

Smiling Drea said, "In some ways yes. It was a very beautiful place. In other ways no, for I hate being reminded of my parents. But I do what I must to stay strong."
